As
Christians we are required by Jesus to take care of our elderly
family members within our Christian Family. This is done by
visiting nursing care facilities in our area. The following
is a list of scheduled activies and services we offer in our
community.
Wednesday
Christian Bible Study with Commuity and Individual Prayer,
scheduled weekly.
Service
includes 10 minutes of gospel music (Christian gospel hymns),
opening prayer, introduction to 30 minute video, 20-30 minute
video discussion with Pastor George, community and individual
prayer. Individual prayer offered to patients confined to their
rooms.
Additional
prayers offered on an as need basis to patients, familiy's,
and staff during the week on as needed basis.
Weekly activities
available include prayer & praise services and small group
bible studies.
Facility
staff is an important component of patient heath. So staff is
encouraged to particiapte in all services and activities provided..
The Nursing
Home Ministry now serves over 100 patients,
familiy's, and supporting staff at locations in Conroe and Livingston.
We are on
call 24/7 for Pastorial support, and needed counseling and prayers.
