As
Christians we are required by Jesus to take care of our elderly
family members within our Christian Family. This is done by
visiting nursing care facilities in our area. The following
is a list of scheduled activies and services we offer in our
community.
Saturday
and Sunday Worship Church Services with Communion scheduled
weekly.
Saturday
and Sunday Worship services includes 30 minutes of gospel music
(Christian gospel hymns) before and during communion, a 10-15
minute sermon by visiting Pastor, group and individual prayer.
Holy communion offered to any baptized Christians of patients,
staff, and family members visiting. Holy communion and individual
prayer also offered to patients confined to their rooms.
Additional
prayers and Christian counseling offered on an as need basis
to patients, familiy's, and staff during the week on as needed
basis.
Weekly activities
available include prayer & praise services and small group
bible studies.
Facility
staff is an important component of patient heath. So staff is
encouraged to particiapte in all services and activities provided..
The Nursing
Home Ministry now serves over 175 patients,
familiy's, and supporting staff at locations in Conroe and Livingston.
We are on
call 24/7 for Pastorial support, and needed counseling and prayers.
