Services include Nursing home visits, Prayer & Praise services, Christian Counseling, Home Small Group Bible Studies and Small Group functions. Call for dates, times and locations.

Nursing Home Ministry expands to supporting nursing homes in Conroe and Livingston. Providing Saturday and Sunday worship services with communion, prayer & praise services, Bible study's, Christian counseling and other activities. The Disciples have been serving patients in nursing homes since November of 2021.

Saturday and Sunday Worship services includes 30 minutes of gospel music (Christian Gospel hymns) before and during communion, a 10-15 minute sermon by visiting Pastor, group and individual prayer. Holy communion offered to any baptized Christians of patients, staff, and family members visiting. Holy communion and individual prayer also offered to patients confined to their rooms.

Additional prayers and Christian Counseling offered on an as need basis to patients, family’s and staff during the week on as needed basis.

Weekly activities available include prayer & praise services and small group bible studies.

Facility staff is an important component of patient heath. So staff is encouraged to participate in all worship services and activities provided. Christian Counseling also is offered to facility staff.

The Nursing Home Ministry now serves patients, family’s, and supporting staff at locations in Conroe and Livingston. Weekly visitations are available upon request, call for scheduling at 832-317-2872.

Yard Cross Ministry has started distribution of crosses to Christians and churches in Livingston and surrounding areas. The crosses are constructed and donated by Trinity Baptist Church in Lufkin. Started distribution from Livingston April 12, 2024.

The crosses serve as a tool to identify Christian homes, businesses and to evangelize to people who are not saved. We carry a good supply with us at all times and are honked at while driving and pulled over for a cross. It becomes a GREAT opportunity to share the gospel and minister to God's people.

We are also distributing crosses in the local area of Livingston, local food banks Prayer Booths, local churches and their families. We currently distribute to (7) seven churches at this time on as need basis.

Year 2024, The Disciples have given out 1034 large crosses, 823 small crosses, 754 prayers.
Year to date 2025, The Disciples have given out 36 large crosses, 24 small crosses, 45 prayers.

Prayer Ministry started in 2021 as we began offering public prayer in restaurants. Restaurants included Golden Corral and Incredible Pizza in Conroe. This ministry has over the years into providing Prayer Booths at public events.

The Prayer Ministry currently offers a Prayer Booth at church events in the Livingston area. The church events include Fall Festivals, food banks distribution, and other church events.

The ministry offers Prayer Booths at local food banks. Currently serving First Baptist Church of Shepherd weekly in Shepherd and Rainbow Baptist Church twice per momth in Rainbow, Texas. We provide prayer and crosses to anyone that wants them. A phrase we hear often, "We always need prayer."

You can become a volunteer and walk with Jesus with other Christians helping others. Join others during nursing home visits, distribute yard crossses, or just become a prayer partner. BECOME A MINISTRY VOLUNTEER

1. ADMIT, that Jesus is your GOD, not yourself, acknowledge HIM in all your ways. Proverbs 3:5-6

2. SUBMIT, your body & soul to the Holy Spirit.

3. RESIST the devil in Jesus' Name, he has to go. Romans 12:12, James 4:7-8
